5th October

The week the children got to experience their first Forest School day! The children were amazing! They created their own flags with leaf printing, make fishing rods out of sticks, toasted bread on the fire and made hedgehogs out of clay. It was a very busy day in which the children had a great time letting their imaginations run wild!

September 28th

The children had a visit from the gingerbread man! He had come into our school over the weekend so we created Look Out posters to catch him. The Year 1's developed their knowledge of Set 3 sounds in Phonics.

September 21st 

We began to learn our Set 1 sounds in reception and played lots of Fred games. The Year 1 worked hard in maths with their place value to 10.

September 14th

This week was the reception children's first full week in school. They were introduced to Fred the Frog and very important member of our school! While the Year 1's focused on their new story in Literacy!

September 7th

Wow what an amazing first week. The reception children began to learn their new routines and explore their brand new class while the Year 1's were busy beginning all their new topics!
