Who we are:

WOOSH is an Ofsted registered childcare provider, providing wraparound care for children attending Wistow CofE Primary School and Barlby CP School. The club is open from 7.30am until 9.00am and 3.00pm until 6.00pm weekdays during term time. We provide professional childcare for children who attend Nursery to Year 6 at Barlby CP School and Reception to Year 6 at Wistow School.

Woosh is owned by sisters, Becky and Solar, both are Higher Level Teaching Assistants at Wistow Primary School and Barlby CP School. We’ve been running our before and after school clubs since 2015, providing children with a safe and fun environment to play, learn and meet new friends.

When you, as a parent, are carefully selecting any form of childcare, the most important aspect must be safety of your child. At WOOSH we provide a safe and happy place for children to thrive. Structured enjoyment is fundamental for all children's development, that is why we provide varied and stimulating resources and equipment and give children the choice of enriching activities that they enjoy.

What you, as a parent, want from WOOSH is to work in a very open way. To be successful we acknowledge that every child is different. We openly invite all your comments and suggestions. As a parent, you know your child better than anyone else and it is beneficial for you to have the opportunity to input your ideas.

What happens next?

Woosh operates a ‘live’ online booking system, allowing parents to book sessions on an ad hoc or termly basis or to the end of the academic year. The system allows you to either pay online or by monthly instalments using credit/debit cards, childcare vouchers and the Government Tax Free Childcare Scheme. We operate on a first come first serve basis.
