Aspire to Inspire Week
The children have also dress up as what they would like to be when they are older. They all look fantastic!
Wow what a final day! The children were joined by Emma this morning who is currently a dental therapist and talk all about her job, but she was also served in the military and worked on the oil rigs. The children were very interest about all of her jobs and how her career formed.
Day four was a very exciting day. We were joined by Sophie a GP and Adam a police officer. The children were very excited and enthused by all the different equipment they brought in. They asked lots of questions but also had some good knowledge to share. I think we have a few budding doctors and police officers at Wistow.
Day three we were joined by Lucy, a solicitor and Jenny, the paediatric nurse. We discovered the weirdest place someone gave birth and all about different areas of the Law. Both were very interesting and the children asked some incredible questions.
Day two began with a visit from Katie, a physiotherapist, who brought in some equipment she uses in her job. She explained to the children how she began a physio and what her favourite parts of the job. In the afternoon we learnt about being an architect from Alexa. She spoke about the qualities she needs and told us about how she helps the local church when it needs repairing.
The week kicked off with two amazing people. Viv joined us to talk about her job as a French teacher and Stephen discussed what he does alongside conducting various ceremonies in church.
The School Councillor's are hard at work getting prepared for our Inspire to Aspire week!
Come back soon to see how the week went!
