Focused task

This week our story is ‘Meerkat Mail’ which is linked to this week’s topic.

 

Today I would like your child to create and write their own postcard. They need to pretend they are going away without anyone and are going to visit a family member, just like in the story. Now it can be real or is can be pretend, your child could go to the rainforest or the desert or to London it is up to them. Can they describe where they are and what they might see? I have attached a template below but create it in their work books or on paper.
