Focused task

This week our story is ‘The Great Kapok Tree’ which is linked to this week’s topic.

 

Quickly talk through the story with your child and then read it again if needed. Next I would you like for your child to pick 3 animals from the story and draw a picture of them and write a sentence about why they are trying to save the tree. For example the porcupine ‘the tree gives us oxygen to live’.
