This week our story is Ronald the Rhino. I have attached the story below.

Focused task

Today I would like you to start with asking your child to retell the story in their own words. Then can they complete the rhyme matching sheet I have attached, you can write it out if needed. What can your child notice about the words that rhyme? Is there any your child is unsure of? Where in the words are the sounds that make it rhyme? Is it always the same letters or the sound they make that rhymes? Can they add their own words to the list?
