This week we are focusing on animal stories.

You have already read 'We're going on a Lion Hunt' this morning.

This book has repeated language all the way through and it's possible to add actions!

Today create a story map of the places visited and animals seen in your home learning book.

Monday 4th May 2020

This week we are focusing on instructions and linking them to VE Day.

Today's task is to read through a selection of wartime recipes.

Are there any you would like to try?

Look for the features of the text that are the same on each recipe.  Headings, subheadings, etc.

Make a list of the key features in your home learning book ready for tomorrow.

Monday 27th April 2020

Over the next two days we are going to find out about shape poems and then write our own. Remember to use what you have learnt about similes.  Today you will need to make notes in your home learning book ready for tomorrow.

Monday 20th April

It's been a very unusual Easter for everyone this year, so i'd love to find out what you have been doing.

Write a recount in your home learning book about what you have done.

Did you have a special meal?

Did you get any Easter eggs?

Did you learn a new skill?

Tell me what you have been doing and record it in a recount.
