We have a fantastic library at Wistow school and we have three librarians, who are pupils. They ensure that the library is organised, runs smoothly, log books out and in, as well as plan fun competitions to encourage pupils to read more.

Children are encouraged to take books home that they are interested in and the librarians are always there to help them out.

We kick started our new academic year with a meeting to design our new group badge. Whilst we were doing this, we talked about charities this year we would like to support. All groups are going to come together and then decide who we can help and how.

We have already spent time in the library, getting it ready for children to come and choose their library books and are planning a reading club for the younger children at breaks.

We can't wait to get started on making a difference together this year ... watch this space!
