Well done to everyone who took part in our rugby circuit challenge last week. Unfortunately we are unable to add every single video and picture, as there are so many of them. What a fabulous whole school effort. Well done Wistow!

Have a look at our personal challenges! We will be setting ourselves some sporting activities over the next few weeks to try and be the best that we can be!

Bolton have been very busy taking part in the North Yorkshire Sport archery competition. As soon as we find out the scores, we will let you know! Cross your fingers for us!

Multiskills and Swimming - A massive well done to our team who participated in today's sporting event. You worked brilliantly as a team and made Wistow proud.

Sports for Schools have visited us today to run through some circuit training and we did a fantastic job! We look forward to Craig McCann's visit next week when we can ask lots of questions and find out what it takes to be an athlete!

Byland and Bolton class have joined together today to play a variety of team games.

Well done to some members of Byland class who each took part in out of school sporting events this weekend!

We enjoyed making cross curricular links with our visitors, First Step.
Sports Day 2019!
What does a healthy meal look like when it comes from under the sea?

Paralympic Day

Throughout school, we have thought about how sports can cater to all needs and abilities. We have discussed the importance of inclusion and how to adapt a sport to promote this.

Sports Week continued....

Mental Health Day!

We've looked at meditation, yoga, poetry, emotions and mindfulness.

Byland Class children had a go at some guided meditation. Have a look!

Happy Sports Week!

Sport's week has begun and we have kicked started the event with Super Teams Day. The children worked hard to score points based on our Golden Values of: Respect, Resilience and Honesty as well as Sportsmanship.

Wistow School took part in this years Quadkids event. They didn't let the rain dampen their spirits. Super Job!
Fountains Class have had a brilliant time with Selby Martial Arts. They thoroughly enjoyed taking part and learning about a new sport.
Rievaulx Class have taken the time to reflect on their PE unit from this term and self assess their learning. Have a look!

Sports Hall Athletics

Everyone in Rievaulx Class took part in an indoor athletics inter-school competition. What a great afternoon, full of fun and laughter! Each member of Rievaulx Class had the opportunity to compete against other school children but more importantly, a chance to obtain their personal best in their events.
